Changing Flat Tire

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Having a car has a big responsibility. Starting from the way you clean it, preserved it and fix things when it goes to trouble.

The main common problem that may occur in the car is having a flat tire. Here is one basic safety tip on how to take out the flat tire in your car. If you are out in the road and got a flat tire, make sure to pull over in a safe place away from traffic and in a flat level surface. Put on the parklight and pull the hand break for safety. It comes with everything you need to change a tire jack, lug nut wrench and a spare tire. Other than that, you may also exploit other useful things like a pair of gloves, large plastic garbage bag and set of wheel chocks. You may begin by chocking the wheel diagonally, opposite the flat tire. If your car has a plastic wheel cover that covers the bolt, pry it off. Loosen the bolts before you jack up the car and yank it pretty hard.  If the tire is already lifted and it is free to wheel, remove all the bolts and you are free to take out the tire to replace.

Having a car is a dream of many people. When you have car, you are popular. And we can say that your are not a pauper. But in the middle or in the higher class of society.

Importance Of Car Manual

Many people have their own car but they are not using hydraulic jack, instead they are using mechanical jack to remove their tire. Maybe some of them cannot afford to buy this kind of jack or they just don’t know how to use it.

Here are some tips on how to use this hydraulic jack safely. Check the car owner’s manual to know how to operate the jack and what are the proper jacking points are. Make sure to place your car jack under a jacking point to avoid damaging the car or creating a dangerous situation. Crank the jack just enough to get the flat tire off the ground. Keep your body away from any place where it could get crushed, if the car falls off the jack. Remove the lug nut bolts and pull the wheel off. For the full size spare, you may have to use the jack to raise the car a bit, and then you can roll the spare into place. But these compacts spares are light enough to lift into place. Tighten the lug nut bolts using a diagonal pattern to attach the spare. Lower the car and tighten the bolts again, to ensure the spare is set squarely on the car.

When you get on the road and you have  a sudden swerve, the car may respond differently than it would with four regular tires. Pull over again and re-tighten the lug nut bolts before driving. Make sure to observe spare tire speed limit, noted in the car owner’s manual for safety guidance.

Fashion Conscious

My brother got married two weeks ago. The occasion was held in our residence. Every people is wearing their best clothes in the wedding. Some ladies are wearing gown and gentlemen are in their formal attire. Different style of clothes with different kind fabric you will see in the place. Fashion is truly amazing, it can change the personality of a person if he or she can wear it properly.

One of the guest caught my attention. She wears  branded clothing products from head to foot. Her accessories are truly an attraction for its colors. And her hair color coordinates with her contact lenses. I remember one friend who used to wear this kind of clothing. The last time I heard about her was when she was hired to be a model of one brand of jeans. And I wonder if our guest is just trying to catch the attention of other guests. Perhaps, she just wanted to show her taste in fashion.

Suddenly, I noticed that I need to retouched my make up. I went to our wash room to apply some foundation on my face and a red lipstick on my paled lips. A little amount of perfume makes me feel fresh again. I brush my hair and went back to the reception area in confidence.
